about “the fem collective” space:
Dr. Kelsey here, your board certified physical therapist and mom, who saw a need when it came to a space for women to build their businesses. When I had my second baby and decided to go into private practice as a physical therapist I have to admit I was a bit naive.
Yes, I had a deep passion for what I did as a physical therapist and truly thrived in the home health setting. But I didn’t realize how lonely being a private practice owner could become or that doing work at my kitchen island would only be endearing for so long. Having my husband work 100% remote from our home also didn’t help - we have completely different industries and we kept stepping on each others toes. Literally and figuratively.
So I tested out a couple different co-working spaces in the Vegas valley. One with childcare that didn’t end up working out for us and one without - Bottega Exchange. The design felt like a cleaner, cozier and modern version of my living room with a staff that actually remembered my name!
Co-working was working. A majority of my time was spent doing home visits and then I could pop in to get administrative work done, grab some bubble ice from the machine on a triple digit temp day and use a clean bathroom at my leisure. Then Bottega was expanding and a private office was available.
at first i was nervous. but then i remembered back to a main tenet of “the mobility project”:

As a mom from the generation that was sold the “supergirl” mentality where you can have it all and do it all at the same time the veil had been lifted since I had my second baby. Sure, working efficiently was key but killing yourself for someone else’s dream just to miss your kids at pick up or sports practice was not a sacrifice I was going to make willingly.
Looking at the potential to share an office with other women and moms who own their business was a realization of a dream. So I leaped - and now YOU have the option to link arms with us and have a private office space of your own. Q: Do I have to be in health/wellness industry to join?
A: No; we have moms with marketing backgrounds and network marketing in addition to the space being able to accommodate health/wellness professionals like mental health therapists. The sky is limit!
Q: Is the membership only for moms?
A: No; we welcome women in all facets of caregiving. You could be a “dog mom”, the #1 auntie or have no connection to kids at all. Sisterhood is vital in any form - we just identified the need when we became moms and truly saw the need for flexible but private office space to nurture our careers so we could be the moms we envisioned.
Q: What are the membership benefits?
A: Basic plan is 4 recurring days in the private office and free access to the general co-working space (plus more benefits!). Prices subject to change so we recommend booking a tour to reflect the most up to date pricing and availability. For example; Tuesdays are currently open for the month of November with open enrollment coming in Q1 of 2025.
